Scutigera coleoptrata (one of several species commonly known as the house centipede), is a typically yellowish-grey centipede with up to 15 pairs of legs. Originating in the Mediterranean region, the species has spread to other parts of the world, where it usually lives in human homes. It is found in homes in Rhode Island.
The house centipede usually lives in human homes. If you are seeing them, call Kent County Pest Control - all work is guaranteed.
My goal is to find sources and any pest-friendly conditions and keep the pests outdoors where they belong!
